Research Publications: Development of Physiotherapy Knowledge
- Correlation of Restless Leg Syndrome with Fatigue and Sleep outcomes among Students Using Paracetamol
This open-access article published in the Journal of Contemporary Pharmacy in June 2024 discussed the connections between paracetamol consumption, fatigue, sleep quality and restless leg syndrome among students.
Although it was not a direct application of physiotherapy, it is interdisciplinary, an interlace between the spheres of pharmacology and rehabilitation medicine, with which Dr. Danish is interested.

- Challenges to the Mediation of Musculoskeletal Outcome Measurement tools in Physiotherapists
As a survey-based study published in the Journal of Health and Rehabilitation Research (Nov 2023), this endeavor evaluated the issues practitioners encountered when applying standardized outcome measurement in musculoskeletal environments.
It is nationally relevant as it is also endorsed by the Pakistan Medical Commission and Higher Education Commission

- Comparative Results of the Whole Body Vibration vs. Squatting Training Interventions on Balance and Mobility of the Chronic Stroke Disease Patients.
This randomized controlled trial was published by the Pakistan Journal of Medical & Health Sciences (2022) and compared two rehabilitation strategies in patients with a stroke.
- This contribution is also able to advocate evidence-based neurological physiotherapy practice by analyzing functional outcomes
- Beyond the Position of the Study
- Building on Evidence-Based Practice
- The clinical trials and surveys conducted by Dr. Danish supply useful information that would be reflected in national rehabilitation guidelines. The stroke rehabilitation intervention, in particular, leads the field by setting higher standards in what tends to be an under-researched field.
Promoting Clinical Services and Approaches
The identified barriers to outcome measurement in his study can be used to explain why clinicians do not embrace standard measurement instruments in this case, and this has the potential of improving training and utilization in the physiotherapy fraternity in Pakistan.
Interdisciplinary Insights
Investigating such issues as sleep quality and medication effect, Dr. Danish manages to connect clinical pharmacology and physiotherapy, which encourages a comprehensive understanding of patients.
Potential and Probable probes ahead
Low number of publications: In spite of their effectiveness, a number of publications by Dr. Danish are quite small.
The possibility of extended collaboration: Collaboration in multi-center studies (of particular interest when it comes to neurological rehabilitation and musculoskeletal assessment) may increase the impact of his results severity-fold.
Long-term effects: The next study might include the longitudinal studies to examine long-term benefits of such methods of therapy as whole-body vibration or squatting protocols.
Donations to the Clinical Practice
Dr. Danish follows his findings to ensure an active use of the result in his practice by providing services such as spine rehabilitation, stroke recovery, dry needling, manual therapy, and soft tissue mobilization. His scholarly outlook is beneficial to patient treatment given the scientific approaches adopted in his outlook.
